Dr. David Schmitz earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1988 from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. He had previously studied pre-medical basic sciences at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has been working in a solo practice in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, since 1990 and is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Schmitz values his relationship with each patient as an individual. If necessary patients are referred for further evaluation and testing. He is committed to continuing education and has a special interest in nutrition, sports injuries, and rehabilitation.
For recreation, Dr. David Schmitz enjoys hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, gardening, reading, and playing guitar. He is married to Kathleen and they have 5 children and a growing number of grandchildren.
